- Shave and exfoliate the day before your tanning appointment. If you shave/exfoliate the day of your tan, you could possibly get solution in your pores leaving behind small dots
- Please note, if you got a sunburn in the last few weeks, your skin is peeling whether you see it or not. We will not spray tan burned skin. Period.
- Schedule hair and spa treatments and workouts prior to tanning appointment
- No lotions, deoderant or makeup, this is a barrier to your spray tan
- Wear dark, loose fitting clothes after tan is applied

- Avoid exercising and showering while your spray tan is developing for at least 10+ hours (unless you used our rapid tan, only 3-5 hours)
- Don’t worry if you see color wash off from your first shower, this is normal. What you see washing off is the immediate cosmetic bronzer and what is left behind is a beautiful sunless tan
- Take warm showers (not hot)
- Wash using your hands with a mild, sulfate-free body wash (no lotion based washes)
- Pat dry after showering
- Moisturize after every shower (recommend coconut oil)

- Hydrate!! Drink water and moisturize (for best results use a water based moisturizer, no mineral oil)
- Avoid soaking in the tub or long showers (hot tubs NOT recommended)
- Wear sunscreen lotions (avoid aerosols)!
- Eat your veggies and fruits!!! Yes, eating vegetables and fruits provide the body with Vitamin E which is essential to amazing skin
and will help you maintain glowing radiant skin!

- How does the mobile spray tan process work at SunGlo?
After you’ve booked you appointment, we arrive at the predetermined location (your home, office, etc.) at the time of your appointment. We set up our mobile tent in the room of your choice (a space such as a bathroom, basement, garage or kitchen work well), ensuring that the room is safe guarded from any overspray. We never leave a mess! Once set up, we apply the tanning solution using an airbrush. The application takes about ten-15 minutes minutes. - How long will my mobile spray tan appointment take?
Each session takes about thirty to forty-five minutes. Setting up the application room takes about ten to fifteen minutes. The application takes about ten - fifteen minutes because we dry you as we go. We will make sure the solution is dry before getting dressed. Getting a glowing, natural looking tan is quicker than a real tan. A SunGlo tan shows up almost immediately and has none of the harmful effects of a tanning bed or sun tan. The studio appointment will take about 30 minutes from start to finish. - What do I wear for my appointment?
At SunGlo, you wear what is comfortable for you. We do not mind if you want to wear a bikini, just bottoms, or all natural. We recommend solid pieces, meaning no straps that make , lace, or holes. This will ensure a solid tan line. We keep disposables on hand and nipple covers. - **All men MUST wear underwear.**
- How soon will I start to see a tan after application?
Instantly! Our tanning solutions contain two main products, a bronzer and natural, DHA. The bronzer provides an immediate effect, so you will see some initial color. The natural, DHA will react with the amino acids in the skin and start to work within about 24 hours. - How long will my tan last?
With the proper skin preparation and recommended aftercare, your SunGlo tan will last four to ten days, which is average for spray and UV tans. The tan may last longer or shorter depending on your own body’s chemistry and skin health, your skin’s natural rate of exfoliation as well as your lifestyle. - How am I assured an even tan?
Unlike a salon’s spray tan booth that blankets color over your entire body, at SunGlo, each tanning session is personalized, ensuring an all-over even glow. We use an airbrush with a very fine mist that helps to apply an even, natural looking tan. - Is a SunGlo tan safe?
YES! SunGlo applies a sunless tanner directly to the top layer of your skin. Most sunless tanning products include an ingredient called Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is the active “tanning” ingredient; it reacts with the naturally occurring amino acids and keratin proteins that are in the dead skin cells on the skin surface and produces a golden brown color on the skin. DHA is not absorbed into the body. In 1973, the FDA approved the use of DHA and it has been used in the cosmetic industry for over 30 years. Our products are natural and organic. Skin allergies or irritations resulting from DHA are extremely rare, but if never tested before, we recommend testing the product on a small area 24 hours prior to spray tanning the entire body. - What kind of solutions do you use?
SunGlo has partnered with several companies who created a truly natural solution, using only the healthiest ingredients available. Our solutions produce a beautiful golden color, never leaving you orange. NO artificial coloring, parabens or formaldehyde and will leave your skin feeling fresh. - How can I get a SunGlo sunless tan?
Book on our website the service you want. If mobile, we service with no extra fees in a 10 mile radius of 30040 and Dawsonville (near outlet mall) but if you need us outside of this radius, we will quote you once booked. - How late are you open? Our last appointment is 7pm Monday-Thursday, Friday 5pm. If you need outside the times please add in your notes when you book and we will let you know if we can accommodate your request. After hours fees apply.
